Adoption of Resolution No. 42, Series 2021 entitled “A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE TOWN OF BUENA VISTA, COLORADO, ADOPTING THE TOWN OF BUENA VIST 2021 WATER RESOURCES MASTER PLAN.” Approve the 2021 Water Resources Master Plan VI. PUBLIC COMMENT This Agenda may be Amended Posted at Buena Vista Town Hall, Post Office, and www.buenavistaco.gov on Friday, October 22, 2021  Citizen participation where the public can sign up prior to the start of the meeting in order to speak during public comment. Comments made in the Zoom Chatbox will not be discussed or included in the minutes. VII. BUSINESS ITEMS A. Town-owned Land Focused on Carbonate Street Lots Planning Director Joseph Teipel will present the final report and recommendations from Chaffee County Community Foundation for the Carbonate Street lots. (Estimated time – 20 minutes) B. Preliminary Design Report for Water Treatment Plant JVA Consulting Engineers will present the preliminary design for the water treatment plant and infiltration gallery expansion and provide project recommendations. (Estimated time – 20 minutes) C. Agreement with RJA for Police Station Architecture Services Adoption of Resolution No. 43, Series 2021, entitled, “A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE TOWN OF BUENA VISTA, COLORADO, APPROVING AN AGREEMENT WITH REILLY JOHNSON ARCHITECTURE FOR POLICE STATION ARCHITECTURE SERVICES.” The Board will consider adopting Resolution No. 43, approving an agreement with RJA. (Estimated time – 15 minutes) D. Update on Bears and Trash The Board will hear an update regarding bears in town and issue with trash and discuss options for penalties related to unsecured trash. (Estimated time – 15 minutes) E. Master Plan Considerations Regarding Water The Board will discuss next steps regarding the Water Resources Master Plan. (Estimated time – 15 minutes) F. Public Hearing – 2022 Town of Buena Vista Budget The Board will hold a hearing on the proposed 2022 Budget to discuss budget requests. (Estimated time – 10 minutes) VIII. TRUSTEE/STAFF INTERACTION The Board discusses items with staff, and staff can bring up matters not on the agenda. X. EXECUTIVE SESSION An executive session to consider the purchase, acquisition, lease, transfer or sale of real, personal or other property, pursuant to C.R.S. § 24-6-402(4)(a), relating to a potential land exchange.
