PUBLIC COMMENT Citizen participation is where the public can sign up prior to the start of the meeting to speak during public comment. Fee Wavier and Fee Reduction Policies The Board will consider approving a Fee Wavier Policy and a Fee Reduction Policy for Town Facilities and Special Events. (Estimated Staff time – 10 minutes; discussion – 10 minutes) B. Number of Attendees Attending Events That Require a Special Event Permit Should the Board of Trustees approve the adoption of Ordinance No. 32, Series 2022, entitled “AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF BUENA VISTA AMENDING SECTIONS 11-111 AND 11-122 OF THE BUENA VISTA MUNICIPAL CODE REGARDING SPECIAL EVENTS.” The Trustees will consider approving a code change decreasing the number of people that constitute a special event from 200 to 100. (Estimated Staff time – 10 minutes; discussion – 10 minutes) C. Proposed Town Weekends The Recreation Department Staff will present a request to the Board that three weekends during the summer be designated as Town Weekends and no special events allowed to be scheduled. (Estimated Staff time – 5 minutes; discussion – 5 minutes) D. Draft of the 2023 Fee Schedule The Board will review proposed changes to the Town of Buena Vista 2023 Fee Schedule. Sections of the Fee Schedule with suggested changes/deletions/edits include Airport, Planning & Zoning, Public Works, and Recreation Departments. (Estimated Staff time – 10 minutes; discussion – 5 minutes) E. Public Hearing – 2023 Town of Buena Vista Budget The Board will hold a hearing on the proposed 2023 Budget to discuss budget requests.
