Adoption of Resolution No. 18, Series 2023, entitled “A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE TOWN OF BUENA VISTA, APPOINTING ANDY KRAWCIW AS A REGULAR VOTING MEMBER AND VICE CHAIR, AND WILLIAM DeLAY AS AN ALTERNATE MEMBER OF THE AIRPORT ADVISORY BOARD, AS WELL AS, RENEWAL OF WAYNE LEE AND BOB DIMMIT AS REGULAR VOTING MEMBERS. VI. PUBLIC COMMENT Citizen participation where the public can sign up prior to the start of the meeting to speak during public comment. Cordova Park Rezone Should the Board of Trustees approve the adoption of Ordinance No. 03, Series 2023, entitled “AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF BUENA VISTA REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY KNOWN AS LOTS 155, 156, 169 AND 170, SUNSET VISTA FILING 4 FROM LOW‐DENSITY RESIDENTIAL (R‐1) DISTRICT TO OPEN SPACE/RECREATION (OSR) DISTRICT AND AMENDING THE TOWN’S OFFICIAL ZONING MAP”. The Board will hear from the staff of the Planning and Recreation Departments and consider rezoning four Town‐owned parcels of property in Sunset Vista from R‐1 to Open Space/Recreation (OSR). (Estimated Staff time – 15 minutes; discussion – 10 minutes) B. CO Center Rezone Public Hearing The Board is requested to move to continue this hearing to March 28, 2023. (Estimated Staff time – 5 minutes; discussion – 5 minutes) VIII. GENERAL BUSINESS A. Billy Cordova Memorial Park and Trail GOCO Grant Approval Should the Board of Trustees approve the adoption of Resolution No. 19, Series 2023, entitled “A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE TOWN OF BUENA VISTA, COLORADO, SUPPORTING THE GRANT APPLICATION FOR COMMUNITY IMPACT GRANT FROM GREAT OUTDOORS COLORADO TO FUND THE CONSTRUCTION OF BILLY CORDOVA MEMORIAL PARK AND TRAIL.” The Board will consider approving the resolution supporting the Community Impact Grant application from Great Outdoors Colorado (GOCO) to fund the Billy Cordova Memorial Park and Trail construction.
