Ratify approval of Letters of Support to Senator Michael Bennet and Senator Hickenlooper on behalf of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Chaffee County in their request for Congressionally Directed Spending funds. Amendments to the Municipal Code The Trustees will consider approving three ordinances defining definitions related to Live-Work use, Duplexes, Single-Family Attached Dwellings, and the OSR (Open Space/Recreation) zone. (Estimated Staff time – 20 minutes; discussion – 20 minutes) Should the Board of Trustees approve the adoption of Ordinance No. 04, Series 2023, entitled “AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF BUENA VISTA AMENDING CERTAIN SECTIONS OF BUENA VISTA MUNICIPAL CODE CONCERNING TWO-FAMILY AND SINGLE-FAMILY ATTACHED DWELLINGS AND THE OLD TOWN OVERLAY ZONE DISTRICTS.” Should the Board of Trustees approve the adoption of Ordinance No. 05, Series 2023, entitled “AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF BUENA VISTA AMENDING CERTAIN SECTIONS OF THE BUENA VISTA MUNICIPAL CODE CONCERNING LIVE-WORK UNITS.” Should the Board of Trustees approve the adoption of Ordinance No. 06, Series 2023, entitled “AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF BUENA VISTA AMENDING CERTAIN SECTIONS OF THE BUENA VISTA MUNICIPAL CODE CONCERNING PUBLIC WATER SERVICE FACILITIES IN THE OSR AND I-1 DISTRICTS.” B. Amendments to Chapter 19 of the Municipal Code The Board will consider a motion to continue a hearing on architectural design regulation and other changes to Chapter 19 of the Municipal Code to April 25, 2023. (Estimated Staff time – 3 minutes; discussion – 5 minutes) VIII. BUSINESS ITEMS A. Rodeo Grounds Master Plan Should the Board Trustees approve the adoption of Resolution No. 20, Series 2023, entitled “A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF BUENA VISTA, COLORADO, APPROVING THE RODEO GROUNDS AND CHICAGO RANCH MASTER PLAN.” The Trustees will consider adopting the Rodeo Grounds Master Plan. Additional Colorado Opioid Settlement of Distribution Funds The Trustees will consider to Opt-in to receive the additional Colorado Opioid Settlements Distribution Funds from Teva, Allergan, CVS, Walgreens, and Walmart. Boys & Girls Clubs of Chaffee County Request for Letter of Support The Trustees will consider approving a Letter of Support on the behalf of Boys & Girls Clubs of Chaffee County to Congresswoman Brittany Petterson requesting Community Project Funding funds.
