Rededication of North Evans Street Should the Board of Trustees approve the adoption of Resolution No. 27, Series 2023, entitled “A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE TOWN OF BUENA VISTA, COLORADO, APPROVING THE DEDICATION OF NORTH EVANS STREET AS SHOWN ON THE MINOR SUBDIVISION OF BLOCK 26, AMENDMENT NO. 1, TOWN OF BUENA VISTA, COLORADO.” The Board will consider approving the acceptance of North Evans Street right of way. (Estimated Staff time – 5 minutes; discussion – 10 minutes) X. BUSINESS ITEMS A. Possession of Tobacco Products by Persons Under 18 Years of Age Should the Board of Trustees approve the adoption of Ordinance No. 09, Series 2023, entitled “AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF BUENA VISTA, COLORADO, ADDING A NEW SECTION 10‐258 TO THE BUENA VISTA MUNICIPAL CODE CONCERNING THE POSSESSION OF TOBACCO PRODUCTS BY PERSONS UNDER 18 YEARS OF AGE.” The Board will consider adopting an ordinance related to the possession of tobacco products by persons under 18. (Estimated Staff time – 5 minutes; discussion – 5 minutes) B. Buena Vista Pack Burro Race Special Event Appeal The Board will hear an appeal from Brad Wann with Buena Vista Pack Burro Race on the decision of a Special Event Permit for a Pack Burro Race. (Estimated Staff time – 30 minutes; discussion – 30 minutes) C. Public Improvement Agreement for The Boulders Should the Board of Trustees approve the adoption of Resolution No. 28, Series 2023, entitled “A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE TOWN OF BUENA VISTA, COLORADO, APPROVING A PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT AGREEMENT WITH 500 N. COLORADO AVE, LLC, FOR THE PROPERTY KNOWN AS THE BOULDERS SUBDIVISION, BUENA VISTA, COLORADO.” The Board will consider approving the Public Improvements Agreement with 500 N. Colorado Ave, LLC, for the Boulders Subdivision. (Estimated Staff time – 5 minutes; discussion – 10 minutes) XI. TRUSTEE INTERACTION The Board discusses items of interest for the community and staff.
