Adoption of Resolution No. 54, Series 2023, entitled, “A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE TOWN OF BUENA VISTA, COLORADO, APPROVING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH LOWRY CONTRACTING FOR THE POCKET WAVE REMODEL PROJECT.” E. Adoption of Resolution No. 55, Series 2023, entitled, “A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN OF BUENA VISTA, COLORADO, APPROVING A NOTICE OF AWARD TO A-1 CHIPSEAL COMPANY FOR THE 2023 STREET CHIPSEAL PROJECTS.” F. Adoption of Resolution No. 56, Series 2023, entitled, “A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN OF BUENA VISTA, COLORADO, APPROVING A NOTICE OF AWARD TO S & S UNLIMITED FOR THE 2023 STREET PAVING PROJECTS.” G. Adoption of Resolution No. 57, Series 2023, entitled “A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE TOWN OF BUENA VISTA, COLORADO, A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE TOWN OF BUENA VISTA, COLORADO, APPROVING THE PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT AGREEMENT WITH THOMAS AND CATALINA WHITE FOR THE PROPERTY KNOWN AS THE WHITE MINOR SUBDIVISION (A RESUBDIVISION OF PARCEL A OF THE COLORADO NATIONAL BANK-PUEBLO PROPERTIES MINOR SUBDIVISION EXEMPTION).” VI. Chaffee County Rec Council Outdoor Recreation Management Plan Annual Report 2023 Envision Chaffee County Program Director Kim Marquis and Recreation Special Projects Manager Earl Richmond will review the Chaffee County Rec Council’s Annual Report. (Estimated time – 15 minutes) B. Carbonate Street Phase 1 Funding Agreement Should the Board of Trustees approve the adoption of Resolution No. 58, Series 2023, entitled “A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE TOWN OF BUENA VISTA, COLORADO, APPROVING THE TAKE-OUT AGREEMENT WITH THE COLORADO CLEAN ENERGY FUND, CARBONATE STREET APARTMENTS, LLC, AND FADING WEST BUILDING SYSTEMS, LLC REGARDING THE FUNDING AWARDED TO THE TOWN UNDER THE STATE OF COLORADO INTERGOVERNMENTAL GRANT AGREEMENT THROUGH THE COLORADO DEPARTMENT OF LOCAL AFFAIRS FROM THE INNOVATIVE HOUSING INCENTIVE GRANT PROGRAM.” The Board will consider approving the Carbonate Street Apartment- Tri-Party agreement. Town Administrator Employment Agreement Should the Board of Trustees approve the adoption of Resolution No. 59, Series 2023, entitled “A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE TOWN OF BUENA VISTA, COLORADO, APPOINTING BRIAN BERGER TO THE POSITION OF TOWN ADMINISTRATOR AND APPROVING AN EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT WITH BRIAN BERGER.” The Board will consider appointing Brian Berger as Town Administrator and approving an employment agreement. (Estimated Staff time – 10 minutes) IX. TRUSTEE INTERACTION The Board discusses items of interest for the community and staff. X. EXECUTIVE SESSION “To determine positions relative to matters that may be subject to negotiations, develop a strategy for negotiations, and/or instruct negotiators, pursuant to C.R.S. § 24-6-402(4)(e), concerning terms of the revegetation plan with Triview Metropolitan District.” XI.
