Adoption of Resolution No. 69, Series 2023, entitled, “A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE TOWN OF BUENA VISTA, COLORADO, APPROVING THE RENEWAL OF THE RETAIL MARIJUANA STORE LICENSE FOR PCG ONE LLC DBA FORAGE BUENA VISTA.” VI. PUBLIC COMMENT Citizen participation where the public can sign up prior to the start of the meeting to speak during public comment. BUSINESS ITEMS A. Buena Vida Wine & Spirits Mark Krasnow, owner of Buena Vida Wine & Spirits, will provide the Board with an update on the construction of the liquor store. (Estimated time – 15 minutes) B. Upper Arkansas River Valley Park Improvement Project The Board will consider approving the Letter of Support confirming that the Town of Buena Vista and the City of Salida are agreeing to partner on the Upper Arkansas River Valley Park Improvement project and approving Chaffee County Community Foundation as the primary applicant who will manage the grant tracking and reporting. (Estimated time – 10 minutes) C. 2024 Budget Presentation Town Treasurer Phillip Puckett will present the 2024 preliminary budget to the Board and set the dates for budget public hearings. (Estimated time – 45 minutes) IX. TRUSTEE INTERACTION The Board discusses items of interest for the community and staff. X. INFORMATION ONLY XI. EXECUTIVE SESSION An executive session to determine positions relative to matters that may be subject to negotiations, develop a strategy for negotiations, and/or instruct negotiators, pursuant to C.R.S. § 24-6-402(4)(e), and to receive legal advice on specific legal questions, pursuant to C.R.S. § 24-6-402(4)(b), regarding potential annexation of certain property into Town.
