Adoption of Resolution No. 74, Series 2023, entitled, “A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE TOWN OF BUENA VISTA, COLORADO, APPOINTING BRIAN BERGER TO THE CHAFFEE COUNTY MULTIJURISDICTIONAL HOUSING AUTHORITY. C. Approval of the Shining Mountain Montessori School (SMMS) Amended and Restated Lease. VI. PUBLIC COMMENT Citizen participation where the public can sign up prior to the start of the meeting to speak during public comment. Comments made in the Zoom Chatbox will not be discussed or included in the minutes. VII. BUSINESS ITEMS A. Public Hearing – The Buena Viking – Hotel & Restaurant Liquor License Change of Location The Board will consider approving the Change of Location Permit for The Buena Viking from 413 E. Main Street, Suite 140, to 418 and 420 E. Main Street. (Estimated time – 15 minutes) B. Public Hearing – 2024 Town of Buena Vista Budget Members from the Beautification Advisory Board and Trails Advisory Board will present their 2024 Budget requests to the Trustees, and the Board will hold a public hearing on the proposed 2024 Budget to discuss budget requests. Interested persons from the general public may speak and address the Board (three (3) minute limit) as part of the public hearing. (Estimated time – 30 minutes) C. Chaffee County Economic Development Corporation (EDC) Executive Director Jake Rishavy will present an update on the EDC’s 2024 budget requests. (Estimated time – 20 minutes) D. Arizona Street Trail and Bridge Project The Board will review and consider bids submitted for the Arizona Street Trail and Bridge Project. (Estimated time – 10 minutes) VIII. STAFF REPORTS 1. Police Chief 2. Planning Director 3. Public Works Director IX. TRUSTEE INTERACTION The Board discusses items of interest for the community and staff. X. EXECUTIVE SESSION An executive session to hold a conference with the Town's attorney to receive legal advice on specific legal questions, pursuant to C.R.S. § 24-6-402(4)(b), acquisition of easement for Town utilities.
