PRESENTATION Boys & Girls Club Facility Update Brian Beaulieu, Executive Director, and Dustin Nichols, Board Facilities Chair, will provide an update on a proposed new facility for the Boys & Girls Club of Chaffee County in Buena Vista. (Estimated time – 15 minutes) VIII. BUSINESS ITEMS A. Chaffee County Office of Emergency Management Introduction/Update – Rich Atkins, County Emergency Manager (Estimated time – 15 minutes) B. Public Hearing – Temporary Seasonal Camping Into the Highway Commerical Zone District Should the Board of Trustees approve the adoption of Ordinance No. 14, Series 2024, entitled, “AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF BUENA VISTA, COLORADO, AMENDING SECTIONS 16.03.3.2.4(C) AND 16.03.3.1.4 OF THE BUENA VISTA MUNICIPAL CODE CONCERNING TEMPORARY CAMPING.” The Board will consider adopting Ordinance No. 14, amending sections of the Municipal Code related to Temporary Camping, and expanding the use into the Highway Commercial zone district. (Estimated time – 30 minutes) C. Billy Cordova Memorial Park Budget Reallocation Should the Board of Trustees approve the adoption of Resolution No. 57, Series 2024, entitled, “A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE TOWN OF BUENA VISTA, COLORADO, REALLOCATING BUDGETED FUNDS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF BILLY CORDOVA MEMORIAL PARK.” The Board will consider adopting Resolution No. 57, reallocating budgeted funds for the Billy Cordova Memorial Park construction. (Estimated time – 10 minutes) D. 2025 Budget Kickoff The Board will discuss the budget process and potential Capital Projects for 2025. (Estimated time – 15 minutes) IX. TRUSTEE/STAFF INTERACTION The Board discusses items with staff and staff can bring up matters not on the agenda. X.
