Public Hearing - Triview Annexation Should the Board of Trustees approve the adoption of Resolution No. 58, Series 2024, entitled, “A RESOLUTION MAKING CERTAIN FINDINGS OF FACT REGARDING THE PROPOSED ANNEXATION OF LAND TO THE TOWN OF BUENA VISTA, COLORADO, KNOWN AS TRIVIEW ANNEXATION.” Should the Board of Trustees approve the adoption of Ordinance No. 15, Series 2024, entitled, “AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF BUENA VISTA, COLORADO ANNEXING TO THE TOWN OF BUENA VISTA, COLORADO CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY KNOWN AS TRIVIEW ANNEXATION.” The Trustees will determine if the subject property is eligible for annexation and consider annexation of the property. (Estimated time – 30 minutes) B. Public Hearing – Triview Annexation Rezoning Should the Board of Trustees approve the adoption of Ordinance No. 16, Series 2024, entitled, “AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF BUENA VISTA, COLORADO, ZONING NEWLY ANNEXED PROPERTY KNOWN AS THE TRIVIEW ANNEXATION.” The Board will consider adopting Ordinance No. 16, zoning the TriView Annexation. (Estimated time – 10 minutes) C. Public Hearing – Rezoning 105 Barnwood Drive Should the Board of Trustees approve the adoption of Ordinance No. 17, Series 2024, entitled, “AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF BUENA VISTA REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY KNOWN AS 105 BARNWOOD DRIVE FROM HIGHWAY COMMERCIAL (HC) TO LIGHT INDUSTRIAL (I-1) AND AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP.” The Board will consider approving applicant Lenny Eckstein’s request to continue the Public Hearing to September 24, 2024. (Estimated time – 10 minutes) D. Public Hearing – Short-Term Rentals – Changes Related to Licenses Categories and Code Clean-Up Should the Board of Trustees approve the adoption of Ordinance No. 18, Series 2024, entitled, “AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF BUENA VISTA AMENDING CERTAIN SECTIONS IN ARTICLE VII OF CHAPTER 6 OF THE BUENA VISTA MUNICIPAL CODE CONCERNING SHORT TERM RENTAL PROPERTIES.” The Board will consider adopting Ordinance No. 18, amending sections of the Municipal Code related to short-term rental properties. (Estimated time – 15 minutes) E. Chaffee Housing Authority Ballot Question Consideration Should the Board of Trustees approve the adoption of Resolution No. 59, Series 2024, entitled, “A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF BUENA VISTA, COLORADO, CONSENTING TO THE CALLING OF AN ELECTION BY THE CHAFFEE HOUSING AUTHORITY ON NOVEMBER 5, 2024, TO IMPOSE A SALES TAX AND COLLECT AND RETAIN AUTHORITY REVENUE.” The Board will consider adopting Resolution No. 59, approving an Election by the Chaffee Housing Authority to impose a sales tax and collect and retain authority revenue. (Estimated time – 15 minutes) This Agenda may be Amended Posted at Buena Vista Town Hall, Post Office and www.buenavistaco.gov on Friday, August, 9, 2024  F. Federal Aviation Administration Grant Agreement Should the Board of Trustees approve the adoption of Resolution No. 60, Series 2024, entitled, “A RESOLUTION APPROVING A GRANT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE TOWN OF BUENA VISTA AND THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA ACTING THROUGH THE FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION FOR THE 2024 DESIGN OF THE APRON REHABILITATION AND EXPANSION PROJECT (3-08-0082-022-2024) – PLANNING & DESIGN PHASE AT THE CENTRAL COLORADO REGIONAL AIRPORT.” The Board will consider adopting Resolution No. 60, approving the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Grant Agreement for the 2024 Apron Planning and Design Project. (Estimated time – 10 minutes) VIII. TRUSTEE/STAFF INTERACTION The Board discusses items with staff and staff can bring up matters not on the agenda. IX.
