PUBLIC COMMENT This Agenda may be Amended Posted at Buena Vista Town Hall, Post Office and www.buenavistaco.gov on Friday, September, 6, 2024  Citizen participation where the public can sign up prior to the start of the meeting to speak during public comment. Three minutes for matters not on the agenda or for agenda items not scheduled for Public Hearing. Or you may email the information to bvclerk@buenavistaco.gov. Neither Town Board nor Town staff should be expected to respond to matters raised in the Public Comment segment of Board meetings. Nevertheless, Board members will always retain the right to ask questions of the speaker and respond then or later to remarks made by any citizen. Comments made in the Zoom Chatbox will not be discussed or included in the minutes. VII. BUSINESS ITEMS A. Water Conservation Plan Update The Board will receive an overview of the Town of Buena Vista Water Conservation Plan. (Estimated time – 30 minutes) B. Chaffee Housing Authority Intergovernmental Agreement Updates Should the Board of Trustees approve the adoption of Resolution No. 62, Series 2024, entitled, “A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE TOWN OF BUENA VISTA, COLORADO, APPROVING THE FIRST AMENDED AND RESTATED INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT FOR THE CHAFFEE COUNTY MULTIJURISDICTIONAL HOUSING AUTHORITY.” Should the Board of Trustees approve the adoption of Resolution No. 63, Series 2024, entitled, “A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE TOWN OF BUENA VISTA, COLORADO, APPROVING THE FIRST AMENDED AND RESTATED INTERGOVERNMENTAL FUNDING AGREEMENT FOR THE CHAFFEE HOUSING AUTHORITY AND ITS MEMBER JURISDICTIONS.” The Board will consider approving the amended and restated Intergovernmental Agreements with the Chaffee County Multijurisdictional Housing Authority and the Chaffee Housing Authority. (Estimated time – 15 minutes) C. Childcare Operator - Request for Proposal Consideration The Board will consider entering into exclusive negotiations with Shining Mountains Montessori School to become the childcare operator at Carbonate Street. (Estimated time – 15 minutes) D. Environmental Review and Assessment - Request for Proposal Consideration The Board will consider selecting a consulting firm to provide Environmental Review & Assessment Services for the Carbonate Street Project. (Estimated time – 15 minutes) E. Dibble & Associates Consulting Engineers Inc. Should the Board of Trustees approve the adoption of Resolution No. 64, Series 2024, entitled, “A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE TOWN OF BUENA VISTA, COLORADO, APPROVING THE AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES, PROVIDED BY DIBBLE ENGINEERING FOR THE 2024 APRON REHABILITATION AND EXPANSION – DESIGN PHASE.” The Board will consider approving the Professional Services Agreement and Scope of Work with Dibble Engineering for the 2024 Rehabilitation and Expansion Design Phase. (Estimated time – 10 minutes) VIII. TRUSTEE/STAFF INTERACTION The Board discusses items with staff and staff can bring up matters not on the agenda. IX.
