Chaffee County Fire Protection District Chaffee County Fire Protection District Chief Blain Schumacher will provide the Trustees with An update on the department. (Estimated time – 15 minutes) X. BUSINESS ITEMS A. Public Hearing – An Ordinance Amending Unified Development Code Sections 16.04.5.3 and 16.2.3 Related to MU-MS Building Design Guidelines Should the Board of Trustees approve the adoption of Ordinance No. 19, Series 2024, entitled, “AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF BUENA VISTA, AMENDING BUILDING DESIGN STANDARDS FOR THE MU-MS ZONE DISTRICT.” Reviewing code changes proposed by the Historic Preservation Committee to amend certain design standards for the MU-MS zone district. (Estimated time –30 minutes) B. Public Hearing - Local Landmark Dedication of 420 West Main Street Should the Board of Trustees approve the adoption of Resolution No. 67, Series 2024, entitled, “A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING THE PRIMARY RESIDENTIAL BUILDING LOCATED AT 420 WEST MAIN STREET AS A HISTORIC STRUCTURE.” Reviewing a recommendation by the Historic Preservation Committee to designate the building at 420 West Main as a locally designated historic structure. (Estimated time - 15 minutes) C. 2025 Budget Presentation Town Treasurer Phillip Puckett will present the 2025 preliminary budget to the Board and set the dates for budget public hearings. (Estimated time – 10 minutes) D. Banking Request for Proposal Consideration Should the Board of Trustees approve Resolution No. 68, Series 2024, entitled, “A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE TOWN OF BUENA VISTA, COLORADO, TO RETAIN COLLEGIATE PEAKS BANK FOR BANKING AND TREASURY SERVICES.” The Board will consider the recommendation from the Baking Services RFP report to retain Collegiate Peaks Bank for banking services. (Estimated time – 10 minutes) XI. TRUSTEE/STAFF INTERACTION The Board discusses items with staff and staff can bring up matters not on the agenda. XII.
