Brief description of the proposed contract change(s) and location(s): Extend the seal coat along Taxiway A by 23,449 SY and the temporary and final pavement markings by 2,407 SF. See attached plans for quantities and location. 2. Reason(s) for the change(s): There is a total available project budget of $388,889, (CDOT $350,000, Sponsor $38,889). The total current amount needed to complete the project is $346,873 (engineering and construction) leaving a surplus of available budget of $42,016. Town Resoultion 038 (Attached) does not allow the contractor’s amount to exceed $234,186. Approval of this change order will allow a new contractor total of $271,857.90. 3. The sponsor's share of this cost is available from: Town Resoultion 022 (Attached) approves the Town share up to $38,889. With the approval of COR No. 1 the Town will not exceed that amount.
