Public Hearing – Draft Ordinance for Single Room Occupancy Use and proposed changes regarding Multifamily Uses. Staff is proposing to create a new use in current residential districts and to modify regulations intended to allow for the development of more multifamily uses, particularly in the Highway Commercial (HC) zone district 2. Introductory Discussion of a new Small Lot Single Family Zone District – Staff will introduce the topic of creating a small single-family zone district to allow for development of single-family homes on smaller lots than what is currently allowed in the R-1 and R-2 zone districts. Staff is seeking direction before bringing back the item at a public hearing for the Commission’s review and recommendation to the Board of Trustees. VIII. Staff/Commission Interaction IX.
