Burlington Public Library Board of Trustees Meeting Minutes March 4, 2014 Call to order at 6:05pm In attendance: Heidi Yeoman, Jane Sneeringer, Maria Magana, Maria Pickering, Maggie Buckholz. Excused: Jerry Mollerstuen Jane motioned to approve the February meeting minutes. Maria Pickering seconded. Minutes approved. Motion passed. Communications Directors Report: • No financial data to share from the city yet. • Nothing new to report on the SKAT Transit being used as a possible option for returning borrowed books to reciprocal libraries. • No new update on way-finder signs. We have the signs and poles, just no location yet. • We have received 3 bids for the Hearing Loop System. • Roots program continues to go well. • A heart defibrillator has been ordered. Incident Report • No incidents to report Unfinished Business • Heidi motioned to approve the bills. Jane seconded. Motion approved. • Heidi motioned to approve the weeds and discards. Maria Pickering seconded. Motion approved. • Discussion of the outline of topics for the School Board Presentation, including non-resident card fees.
