Cabot City Council - Work Session Meeting Veterans’ Event Center March 17, 2021 @ 6:00 p.m. CALL TO ORDER – Mayor Ken Kincade WORK SESSION ON 2021 BOND ITEMS – See Attachment for Items of Discussion ADJOURN  City of Cabot Current Bond Wish List Updated as of 03/15/21 Town Hall March 15, 2021 I. Internet Infrastructure/Quality of Life – Estimated Amount $22,000,000. Was told to adjust for increased inflation, cost and labor. II. Road Repair/Overlays and Drainage work – Estimated amount is $16,000,000 III. Police Equipment – Estimated amount is $1,500,000. Updated to include indoor firing range. IV. Fire Truck - $900,000. V. Fire and Police Training Center - $3,000,000. Updated to include land purchase and small fire station located next to facility. VI. Tornado Siren Upgrades - $250,000. VII. New Community Services Center - $3,900,000. Was at $7,000,000. Will buy old building and refurb it to include animal services support center, coffee shop and large food pantry for the needy. VIII. Community Pavilion with bathrooms - $300,000. IX. Parks and Recreation Projects – See below. a. Multi-use facility (basketball and volleyball) & Land - $16,000,000 b. Baseball turf on 6 additional fields - $800,000. Updated price on turf. c. Wave Pool at Aquatic Park - $2,000,000 d. All-inclusive playground - $1,000,000. Could go down due to grants. X. Buildings and land for city use -Still negotiating. Vacant buildings purchased for the revitalization of downtown Cabot for community services.
