c. Approve increasing pay for umpires for summer baseball and softball program:
i. Raise umpire pay for 12U, 13U, 14U baseball and 12U and 14U softball from $20/game to
$25/game
ii. Raise umpire pay for 9U, 10U, and 11U baseball and 10U softball from $17/game to
$20/game
d. Approve application from Felton Chevrolet of Caledonia RE, LLC to erect signs at 205 N.
Kingston St.

a. Public hearing re application by Eitzen State Bank for the following setback variances to
construct a 52’ x 92’ building (4,784 square feet) on parcel IDs 21057900 and 21057800:
i. Parcel ID 210579000
a) Setback variance of 77 feet, resulting in a 53-foot setback from the east property line
ii. Parcel ID 210578000
a) Setback variance of 77 feet, resulting in a 53-foot setback from the east property line
b) Setback variance of 59 feet, resulting in a 31-foot setback from the west property line
c) Setback variance of 30 feet, resulting in a 60-foot setback from the north property line

b. Consideration of proposed Resolution 2020-04: A Resolution Authorizing the City of Caledonia
to Apply to the Minnesota Public Facilities Authority for a Loan of $1,275,480 from the
Drinking Water Revolving Fund for Improvements to its Drinking Water System
c. Consideration of proposed schedule of compliance between the Minnesota Pollution Control
Agency and the City of Caledonia (re operation of Caledonia wastewater treatment plant)
d. Consideration of proposed Amendment No. 2 to Engineering Services Agreement between
Donohue & Associates and the City of Caledonia for the wastewater treatment facility plan
e. Discussion re City response to Covid-19
f. Overtime report
9. Announcements
a. There will be a special City Council meeting on Monday, April 6, 2020 to discuss the City’s
Comprehensive Plan update.
b. The next regular City Council meeting is scheduled for Monday, April 13, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. The
Local Board of Appeal and Equalization meeting will be held at the beginning of the City
Council meeting.
c. Houston County’s fluorescent bulb collection is scheduled for April 18, 2020. Caledonia
residents can drop off fluorescent bulbs at the Houston County drop-off site for household
materials, located at 5154 County 9.
