EXCEPT AS OTHERWISE PROVIDED BY LAW, NO ACTION OR DISCUSSION SHALL BE TAKEN ON ANY ITEM NOT APPEARING IN THE FOLLOWING AGENDA MOTION: SECOND: VOTE: RESOLUTION 23-22 N-Froelich, mayor A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CALIPATRIA RATIFYING AN EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT FOR CITY MANAGER/FINANCE OFFICER WHEREAS, The Council of the City of Calipatria has made an offer of employment to Laura Gutierrez to serve as City Manager and Finance Officer for the City of Calipatria; and WHEREAS, the City Council directed the City Attorney to prepare a draft employment contract and forward it to Laura Gutierrez for review; and WHEREAS, Laura Gutierrez has reviewed the contract and is agreeable to the terms stated therein; and WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the contract and is agreeable to the terms stated therein; and NOW THEREFORE THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CALIPATRIA, CALIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AND FIND AS FOLLOWS: 1. That the draft contract is hereby ratified; and 2. That the Mayor may sign the contract on behalf of the City. 053123SPCAGN  2/2 MOTION: SECOND: VOTE: RESOLUTION 23-23 Froelich, mayor A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CALIPATRIA RATIFYING AN EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT FOR CITY PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR WHEREAS, The Council of the City of Calipatria has made an offer of employment to Edgar Self to serve as Public Works Director for the City of Calipatrai; and WHEREAS, the City Council directed the City Attorney to prepare a draft employment contract and forward it to Edgar Self for review; and WHEREAS, Edgar Self has reviewed the contract and is agreeable to the terms stated therein; and WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the contract and is agreeable to the terms stated therein; and NOW THEREFORE THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CALIPATRIA, CALIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AND FIND AS FOLLOWS: 1.
