I. CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Pro Tem Don Chaney called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.

B. Approved automated clearing house and claim checks numbered 136626 to 136737
in the amount of $555,047.61. Approved automated clearing house, direct deposit
and payroll checks numbered 7566 to 7575 and payroll accounts payable checks
numbered 135399 through 135412 in the amount of $1,824,307.20. Approved

electronic payments for the month of March in the amount of $381,354.98.
C. Awarded the Surface Water Transmission Main, Phase 3 project to McDonald
Excavating Inc. in the amount of $1,483,374.87 and authorized administrative
execution of change orders up to 10% of the total bid. This project is financed through
a Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (SRF) Loan and the City's Water Fund. The
2017 Budget carryover for this project is included in the 2018 Spring Omnibus.

Surface Water Transmission Main Phase 3 Bids
It was moved by Council Member Anderson, seconded by Council Member
Carter, to approve the Consent Agenda. The motion carried unanimously.

Child Abuse Prevention Month Proclamation
Mayor Pro Tem Chaney proclaimed April 2018 as Child Abuse Prevention Month
in Camas.
C. 2018 Citizen Appointments to Boards, Commissions and Committees
2018 Camas Mayor Appointments to Boards and Committees
It was moved by Council Member Turk, seconded by Council Member
Smith, to approve the Mayor's Appointment recommendation to the Clark
County Arts Commission. The motion carried unanimously.
VIII. MEETING ITEMS
A. Public Hearing for the 2018 Spring Omnibus Budget Amendments
Details: Conduct a public hearing to provide citizens an opportunity to give public
testimony regarding the 2018 Spring Omnibus Budget Amendments. The hearing will
remain open until April 16, 2018 City Council Regular Meeting. After the hearing
closes, Council will consider an ordinance to amend the 2018 Operating and Capital
Budgets for the City of Camas.
