I have a passion for history, historic architecture, and proper restoration. I own an 1890's farmhouse in Campbell that I have restored and tried to bring back to it's orignial condition. I also have restored a 1926 Spanish bungalow in San Jose and an 1874 Italianate Victorian in Sacramento. I realize how scarce and critical our historic buildings are in Campbell, as well as the cost and effort it takes to maintain/preserve them. I am interested in the board because I believe my experiences and interactions with government in many cities would give me a unique perspective on the board and hopefully add value in preserving our heritage and balancing competing project needs.
