SPECIAL BOARD OF CONTROL Meeting Minutes A Special Board of Control meeting was held Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at 10:30AM in the Mayor’s Conference Room. Board President, Mayor Bernabei called the meeting to order at 10:30AM. Director of Public Service John Highman was present. Director of Public Safety Andrea Perry was excused. Board Secretary Katie Wise was also present. There were no visitors present. The following items were for review/approval by the Board of Control: 9/21/2021 - Minutes 1. Ordinance 66/2020 Enter into Change Order No. 3 & Final with Wenger Excavating, Inc. for a cost reduction in the amount of $27,864.70 for the 36th St. NW Storm Sewer & Road Reconstruction Project, Phase 1, GP1270 for the Engineering Department, in order to close out the project, resulting in a new contract amount of $1,679,411.78. Discussion: Director Highman noted that this was the first phase of this project, which ran from Market Ave. to Logan Ave. He also added that this project is now complete. Motion: Mayor Bernabei made a motion to approve the above referenced change order. Director Highman seconded. Vote: 2 yeas 0 nays Motion carried.
