Ms. Bell, could you please state your name and residential address, please. KIMBERLY BELL: Yes, Kimberly Bell, um… 1733 Morris Ave Canton, Ohio. Uh… first I want to… to address the issue with um… the Williams family. Um… the… there… there… the last image those kids and their… the… his…their wife have of their father and her husband, while they’re coming outside with their hands up. He’s full of bullet holes that Canton police officer Robert Hubert put in him and it’s been almost seven months, still no arrest. You let him come back sixteen days after he did this and you… you… you… you… you deceive the community and the media that you didn’t tell nobody that he was back sixteen days later. We find out two months after that, that he was back on the job. But nobody in your office, Mayor, has made an attempt to try to get those kids and their wife… his wife out of that home. The last image they have in that house, they relive it every day. When they walk downstairs through the kitchen, by the backdoor, of the father full of bullet holes and they’re not able to render his amb… aid… him aid, because they’re coming outside with their hands up. I mean if that was one of you, Mayor, Mr. President, any of you whose kids have got killed like… whose father got killed like that. You would make every effort to try to get those kids out of that house so they wouldn’t relive that. Being that it’s a black family, that don’t have that type of money to move. They can’t do it but you rich ones can and… and… and it’s just uncalled for and uncaring and… and just so unhuman for you to sit in your office and your $100,000 homes every night while they’re still cleaning up the blood from James’s, on the carpet. It’s time for y’all to go. Y’all… y’all done… y’all done… y’all use the same laws and the same rules when you… pass it down from white man to white man to white man and it needs to stop. We need…. it’s like… it’s like… like I said the four of you black one that… that’s up here. You have the power to get rid of these old white men and you won’t use it. JASON COUSINS: My name is Jason Cousins, 2307 10th ST, Canton. Um… I really don’t have too much to say. I just wanted to look at some of y’alls faces. I like to look at people that don’t do they job. You know y’all… y’all got a city to run and it’s like y’all picking favorite to things y’all picking in favor. Hall of Fame, y’all give money for that. Y’all say that y’all don’t have money, it’s this and that. Your streets are messed up, you keeping putting asphalt down, it keep on tearing up. Concrete, it works, it last forever. Y’all focused on all the wrong things. Y’all got ways that… prehistoric. It’s time for change and when I say it’s time for change like we really… our community are finna get people to stop… we not finna… we going to find a way to stop giving y’all money to stop paying for your polices. Cause we can pay people to police us that really going to protect us. Cause y’all not protecting us, when we see red and blue lights flashing behind us we get scared even when we ain’t doing nothing and that shouldn’t happen. I got grown kids, 18, 19, starting to drive. I gotta worry about them worry about someone pulling them over, shooting them because they reaching for their phone or something. In a racist place that blatantly break rules and laws. I got arrested at the Hall of Fame on the sidewalk because what I said. When this is protected at the Hall of Fame with a… they got their own rules that you’re protected there for freedom of speech and y’all allowed this to happen. But yet we set up to go to trial because they don’t want to throw it out. I will see all y’all in the long run. Time don’t wait for people man, but time going to bring change because the ones of y’all that ain’t ready for change, we going to make it happen around you and get y’all the hell up out of here. Um… Trustee Scott Haws from Plain Township I would put this on record. Um… he has been getting some complaints along 37th street along the Meadowlake Golf Course. Um… with the amount of what they call high volume speed golf balls flying in their yard. Um I do have one thing I passed out a flyer tonight. Um… three years ago we did Canton… we did Council did “Feed the Needy” City… City of Canton and we had recently changed the name to “Canton Helping Canton”. Um… that is going to be… and this is being put on by all of Council and we encourage everybody to participate. Spent the better of the day driving around uh… trying to get donations. Um… I think there’s a good shot that what we’re looking to do this year and it’s going to be the same set up where we’re going to have the grills out there. So, we’re going to have a picnic plus we’re going to have a food giveaway and I… right now there’s probably more people in need than ever. So we are going to work in conjunction with uh… Giant Eagle. Jill has been helping me with this and we’re trying to get things together and any sup… any help from the rest of the Council members would be great and the administration would be really appreciate. Um… We’re going to try and get the Akron Canton Food Bank in the mix. Had a conversation with Sugardale and Nickels Bakery today. (Inaudible) Provisions, Huntington Bank, CSE Credit Union, why not reach out to everybody and actual… actually Mike I was going to give you a call I just didn’t have enough time. So, but I’m sure I’ll talk to you tomorrow. But um… it’s a great cause there’s more… there is a lot of people in need out there. The date will be Saturday September 17, and um I think it will be a great time, I really do and uh… any… any help will be really appreciated guys so.
