CITY ANNOUNCEMNETS: Mayor Sherer informed everyone that the Warming Shelters will be open from 8
am to 8 pm and that they are in the process of getting the Warming Center at Duber Elementary School up and
running. He also let everyone know about Light Up Downtown this Wednesday, the 3rd, at 5 pm.
MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS: Member Kimbrough reminded everyone that Giving Tuesday is starting on
December 2nd and encouraged the community to participate. Member Cooks asked Mayor Sherer to provide the
public with information regarding the Food Giveaway on December 13th at 11:00 am. Member Chris Smith
informed the public about the Unforgettable Christmas Event on December 13th from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm at
the Southeast Community Center.
