less; Assigning said territory to Ward 6 of the City; Zoning said Territory as R-1a Single Family Residential

OLD BUSINESS: None
RULE 18 SPEAKER(S): Tiffaney Robertson spoke regarding homelessness and the food famine associated
with it. Tony Jennings spoke about the food drive held last Saturday and expressed thanks and appreciation to
Council and the Mayor for their assistance and support. Kim Bell expressed concerns regarding the City’s
Temporary Budget.

CITY ANNOUNCEMNETS: Mayor Sherer thanked all volunteers for their assistance and support with the
food drive held last Saturday and extended holiday well wishes to everyone.
MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS: Member Morris explained his reason for denying Daniel Gates the
opportunity to speak Under Rule 18. Member Sacco expressed concerns regarding City Grant Funding for the
Fire Department. Member Cooks thanked audience members who remained after the meeting to receive
answers to their concerns and also expressed appreciation to everyone who assisted with the food drive.

Member Kimbrough informed the community of the food drive being held at Mount Olive Church this Saturday
from 11:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. Mayor Sherer explained the City’s Grant to Member Sacco. Member Giavasis
offered words of appreciation to President Bates Aylward and Member Crystal Smith for their service to
Council. President Bates Aylward wished a Happy Birthday to all individuals celebrating birthdays in
December, within the horseshoe. Member Babcock reminded the community of the “Unforgettable Christmas”
event taking place this Saturday, December 20, at the Edward “Peel” Coleman Southeast Community Center.
