City of Canyon Commission Meetings

City Commission Meeting September 28, 2023 The City Commission of the City of Canyon met in a Special Meeting with the Canyon Economic Development Corporation Board of Directors at 11:00 am in the Hull Room of the Canyon Area Library. Mayor Gary Hinders presided over the meeting with the following Commissioners in attendance, Mayor Pro-Tem Cody Jones, Robyn Cranmer, Paul R. Lyons and Danny Potter. Included in the meeting were the following members of the CEDC Board of Directors: President Robyn Cranmer, Keith Brown, Jed Welch, Andy Hicks, Matt West, and Thompson Mayberry Also present were the following City Staff: City Manager Joe Price and Canyon Economic Development Director Stephanie Tucker. Item 1. Call to Order Mayor Hinders called the meeting of the Canyon City Commission and Canyon Economic Corporation Board to order at 11:14 am Item 2. Work Session with Canyon Economic Development Corporation. Each attendee was given the opportunity to introduce themselves. There was discussion about the inception of the CEDC and its history, the processes, methods, and tools used by the CEDC, and general discussion and question/answer with the new CEDC Director Stephanie Tucker. Item 3. Adjourn.
