ADJOURNMENT CAPE MAY CITY COUNCIL NOTICE OF VIRTUAL MEETINGS AND INSTRUCTIONS Pursuant to the State of Emergency and Public Health Emergency as ordered in Executive Order No. 103 and 107 by the New Jersey Governor, the City of Cape May is holding all scheduled meetings virtually via Zoom, with a live stream of the meeting on the City’s new Facebook page to be used for open public City meetings and COVID-19 information. Members of the public have the following options for observing and/or participating in the meeting: To watch and listen to the Council Meeting • Watch the meeting on Facebook as it is streamed live to the City’s Official Facebook page: - Log into Facebook prior to the meeting date and search for “Cape May, NJ COVID” (@capemaycitycovidinfo), or follow https://www.facebook.com/capemaycitycovidinfo - “Like” and “follow” the page. - If you like/follow “Cape May, NJ COVID” prior to the Council Meeting, you will receive a notification once the live stream begins or you can visit the City’s Facebook page at the designated meeting time to watch and listen to the meeting. - You are able to visit the City’s Facebook page at any time during the meeting to view the live stream. Please note that comments and questions left on the City’s Facebook live stream or Facebook page will not be addressed. The public has the following options for submission of questions or comments: • Dial 609-884-9533 to call-in with your question or comment during the open public portion only. - If you hear a busy signal: the line is in use by another caller. Please continue dialing in and we will eventually reach your call. - You must give your full name and address prior to giving your question or making your statement. - Please keep your question/statement concise and specific to an agenda topic. - Comments must be kept to a 5-minute timeframe. - Please be advised that the City is working to offer audio teleconferencing as another method of public participation. This notice will be updated and republished accordingly once that service is offered. • E-mail your specific questions or comments to cityclerk@capemaycity.com; mail your written comment to Cape May City Hall, 643 Washington Street, Cape May, NJ 08204, or drop off your written comment to Cape May City Hall (call 609-884-9530 to make arrangements for pick-up) and they will be read into the record and addressed during the meeting. - You must include your full name and address in the body of the e-mail or letter, or your question/statement will not be addressed. - Please put “Public Comment (insert meeting date)” in the subject line/on the envelope. - Please keep your question/statement concise and specific to an agenda topic. - Comments must be less than 700 words. - Questions or comments must be sent prior to one hour before the scheduled meeting time. - Any written question or comment received after one hour prior to the scheduled meeting will be forwarded to City Council/the appropriate City Official after the meeting, but will not be read into the record during the meeting. Further notice is given that this notice and relevant meeting documents are posted with each Council Meeting Agenda on the “Meeting Calendar” page of the Cape May City website, www.capemaycity.com, and also posted at the Police and ADA accessible entrances to Cape May City Hall.
