OLD BUSINESS: Charlotte Todd • 3 work session groups were broken out into topics. o Horseshoe crab findings ▪ Short-term to publish material highlighting horseshoe conservation. ▪ Long-term starting 2027 horseshoe crab programming. o Gardening findings ▪ Group spoke about code enforcement and gardening options for second homeowners. o Water Conservation. ▪ Work with city management and code enforcement. ▪ Hold public meetings on water conservation. ▪ Public signage on water conservation. Councilmember Bodnar- City Council • Planning board updates. o Land development permit update. • Ordinance for tree canopies update. Gretchen Whitman • Nature Center of Cape May program updates. Justine Gaver-Magariel • Climate School updates. • Request for more code enforcement staff. NEW BUSINESS OPEN TO PUBLIC • Ashley Tracy- Nonresident spoke about her experience with Environmental Commissions. DISCUSSION: . ADUOURNMENT: A motion to adjourn the meeting at 11:55 a.m. Next meeting is Tuesday, July 28th , 2026, at 11 a.m. in Cape May City Hall auditorium.
