The minutes from August 26th, 2025 – Barbara Meimbresse made the motion, Randell Nuschke seconded, all
approved with no changes.
OLD BUSINESS:
Mike Jones-Planning Board
• First application for a new store at the Washington St Mall has been approved.
Councilmember Bodnar- City Council
• Bid for the construction of the Police station was approved.
• • Engineer resolution approved for water, sewer and roadway improvements.
• • City Council passes a resolution to replace the membranes at the water desalination plant.
• Harborview Park landscape plan has been modified due to concerned residents.

• Spoke about Harborview Park’s updated landscape plan and the adjustment to the tree totals.
• Flood zone update and its difficulties with historic properties.
David Scheffler
• Dune Day update for October 4th planting day at Queen St beach entrance.

• Monarch fest event update.
• Talks about NJ Audubon’s suggestions on leaving leaves on the ground and native gardening ideas.

A motion to adjourn the meeting at 11:58 p.m. Next meeting is Tuesday, October 28th, 2025, at 11 a.m.
