REVISED MEETING AGENDA of the City Council of the City of Cape May, NJ Cape May City Hall Auditorium 643 Washington Street, Cape May, NJ 08204 Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at 3:00 PM Please be advised that due to the standing state of emergency declared by Governor Phil Murphy via Executive Order 374, the Cape May City Council is meeting on January 7, 2025 at 3:00 PM to take action on items essential to the functioning of the City only. These action items are listed below and have been selected from the Special Meeting, Reorganization Meeting, and Regular Meeting agendas that were duly posted and distributed on January 3, 2025. The intent is to postpone all other action items previously scheduled for January 7, 2025, including City Council’s full Reorganization Meeting, to Wednesday, January 22, 2025 with adequate public notice provided. Please also be advised that the City of Cape May is holding all scheduled City Council meetings in-person at the Cape May City Hall auditorium, 643 Washington Street, Cape May, NJ 08204. Meetings will also be streamed live on the City’s Youtube channel (instructions are attached to this agenda). Notice is hereby provided that Cape May City Council Meetings are audio recorded and/or video streamed live. Live video streams are posted to the Cape May City website. To watch and listen to the Council Meeting: - Prior to the start of the meeting, visit the City’s website, www.capemaycity.com, and click the yellow “Livestream” tab on the left-hand side of the screen, or; - Select the meeting you wish to observe (may have to click “Videos” for a full listing) Please note that written submissions and comments made via telephone will no longer be accepted. You must attend the scheduled meeting in-person to make your public comment. Public comments will be limited to a five-minute timeframe.
