Please be advised that the City of Cape May is now holding all scheduled City Council meetings in-
person at the Cape May City Hall auditorium, 643 Washington Street, Cape May, NJ 08204.
Meetings will also be streamed live on the City’s Livestream account (instructions on how to watch
are attached to this agenda). In accordance with Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)
guidelines, it is encouraged that all individuals continue to wear masks indoors regardless of
vaccination status.

Under the Open Public Meetings Law, notice of this meeting was sent to the Cape May County Herald
and the Press of Atlantic City, and a copy of the agenda was delivered to each member of City Council,
and posted on the Cape May City website and Cape May City Hall bulletin board.
Notice is hereby provided that Cape May City Council Meetings are audio recorded and video streamed

446-2021 An Ordinance Refunding Bond ordinance of the City of Cape May, in the County of
Cape May, State of New Jersey (the “City”) Providing For (i) the Refunding of All or
a Portion of Outstanding Bonds of the City, including those Bonds Issued in the
Original Principal Amount of $2,500,000 Dated December 15, 1998 to the Farmers
Home Administration (the “FMHA”) (Water Desalination); Issued in the Original
Principal Amount of $1,200,000 dated October 12, 2007 to the United States
Department of Agriculture Rural Development (“USDA”) (System Improvements);
Issued in the Original Principal Amount of $1,250,000 dated October 27, 2011 to the
USDA (System Improvements); Issued in the Original Principal Amount of
$1,400,000 dated October 27, 2011 to the USDA (System Improvements); and Issued
in the Original Principal Amount of $1,585,000 dated July 18, 2014 to the USDA
(System Improvements), in Order to Provide Debt Service Savings and Taxpayer
Relief, and (ii) Authorizing the Issuance of Not to Exceed $6,500,000 Aggregate
Principal Amount of General Obligation Refunding Bonds of the City to Effect Such
Refunding and Appropriating the Proceeds Therefor
