OLD BUSINESS: Mike Jones-Planning Board • Swains’ application submitted pertaining to property line. Councilmember Bodnar- City Council • Talks have started with the city’s Planning Board and City Council about local business employee housing and affordable housing. • New Police Department groundbreaking celebration November 13th, 2025. • City Council has begun discussions on creating a city open house event. This event will be open to the public for an opportunity to meet city board and commissions members to learn more about city projects, events and ask questions. Dune Day- David Scheffler • Dune Day was successful with an estimated 50 volunteers that helped plant dune grasses at the Queen Street entrance. Justine Gaver-Magariel • Reported on Columbia’s mid-project report, November’s agenda will include more updates. NEW BUSINESS Gretchen Whitmen • Created a list of recommendations for the Cape May Nature trail she would like to present to city management. OPEN TO PUBLIC • No Comments. DISCUSSION: Charlotte Todd • The Monarch Fest event activities had a fantastic turnout with great hands-on opportunities. • Maryland schools are becoming all Green Schools. David Scheffler • Cleans Community Clean up October 30th , Trick or Trails. .
