Tuesday, November 26, 2024
Opening: The meeting of the City of Cape May Planning Board was called to order by
Chairperson Bill Bezaire at 6:30 PM in the City Hall Auditorium. In compliance
with the Open Public Meetings Act, adequate notice was provided.

Minutes:
Motion made by Mrs. Reed to approve the meeting minutes of November 12, 2024, seconded
by Councilmember Yeager and carried 6-0. Those in favor: Mr. Gorgone, Mayor Mullock, Mrs.
Reed, Mr. Riggs, Mr. Jones, Mr. Bezaire. Those opposing: None. Those abstaining:
Councilmember Yeager, Mr. Crowley, Mr. Lundholm.
Discussion:
Prioritization of Recommended Changes in the City's Master Plan, Development
Regulations, and Zoning Map - Land Use Element
Engineer Hurless resumed the discussion of his October 15, 2024 memorandum of the
reexamination recommendation items including the parking trust and fencing plus workforce
housing, affordable housing and parking in the C-1 Primary Business and C-2 Beach Business
Districts. The board will continue discussion on the reexamination at subsequent meetings with
input gathered by Member Riggs from other municipal managers including affordable housing and
workforce housing definitions, enforcement schedules and incentives.
Motion made to adjourn by Mr. Lundholm at 7:55 PM with all in favor.
