BOROUGH OFFICE MINUTES Chairman Michael Wight called the meeting to order at 7:04 P.M. The attendance was as follows: PLANNING COMMISSION BOROUGH OFFICIALS, ETC. MEMBERS Present Michael Wight, Chair Amanda Bell, Recording Secretary John Schubring David A. Hazlett, Borough Manager Sara Laird David Lillard Sarah Skoczen (7:27 pm) Trish Rowe Absent Owen Phelan CONSIDERATION OF THE MINUTES OF THE FEBRUARY 7, 2022 MEETING of PLANNING COMMISSION with BOROUGH COUNCIL Following brief discussion: ***S. Laird moved, J. Schubring seconded, that the Commission accept the minutes of the Planning Commission Meeting with Borough Council of February 7, 2022 as submitted. Motion passed unanimously. OPEN TO THE PUBLIC No one addressed Members at this time. NEW BUSINESS Property Maintenance. Mr. Hazlett stated that he will have a draft ordinance concerning safety hazards for the commission’s review at the April meeting. Several members have taken a tour of the borough with Mr. Hazlett to look at properties that need to be addressed. There are still a few members who would like to schedule a time to take the tour. S. Laird addressed a concern of defective gas lines in homes. She asked if this topic would be appropriate for Planning Commission or Borough Council. The topic will be discussed at a later time.
