The public may at this time address the members of the Housing Authority on any matters within the jurisdiction of
the Housing Authority and/or on any items on the agenda of the Housing Authority, prior to any action taken on
the agenda. No action may be taken on non-agendized items except as authorized by law. Speakers are
requested to limit their comments to no more than three minutes each, speaking once. If you would like to
address the Housing Authority, please complete the SPEAKER’S CARD. The card is available at the speaker’s

2. 2014-430 CONSIDER APPROVAL OF A CONSULTANT RETAINER AGREEMENT BY
AND BETWEEN OVERLAND, PACIFIC & CUTLER, INC. AND THE CARSON
HOUSING AUTHORITY TO PROVIDE RELOCATION SERVICES
Recommendation: TAKE the following actions:
1. APPROVE an increase of $211,600.00 in the FY 2014/15 Carson Housing Authority
budget through transfer from the Authority fund balance to account number 55-70-790-
003 8009.
2. APPROVE a new consultant retainer agreement by and between Overland, Pacific &
Cutler, Inc. and the Carson Housing Authority in an amount not-to-exceed $211,600.00.
3. AUTHORIZE the Authority Chair to execute the consultant retainer agreement
between Overland, Pacific & Cutler, Inc. following approval as to form by the Authority
Counsel.

direction to its negotiator(s) Nelson Hernandez and Jeff Westbrook, regarding that certain real property at
2254 E. 223rd Street. The Successor Agency's real property negotiator will seek direction from the

Quitclaim Deed following Cal Trans' approval of the lease.
3. AUTHORIZE the Mayor to execute the Quitclaim Deed Certificate of Acceptance
following Cal Trans' approval of the lease.
