on the agenda. No action may be taken on non-agendized items except as
authorized by law. Speakers are requested to limit their comments to no more than
three minutes each, speaking once. If you would like to address the City
Council/Housing Authority/Successor Agency, please complete the SPEAKER’S
CARD. The card is available at the speaker’s podium or from the City Clerk.
Please identify on the card your name, address, and the item on which you would
like to speak, and return to the City Clerk. The SPEAKER’S CARD, though not
required in order to speak, assists the Mayor in ensuring that all persons wishing to

Recommendation: TAKE the following actions:
1. APPROVE the Second Amendment to the consultant retainer
agreement by and between the Successor Agency and Eco and
Associates, Inc., authorizing an increase of $20,000.00 for a
total not-to-exceed contract amount of $80,000.00.
2. AUTHORIZE the Chairman to execute the Second
Amendment to the consultant retainer agreement following
approval as to form by the Agency Counsel.

Recommendation: TAKE the following actions:
1. WAIVE the formal bidding procedures as defined by the
Carson Municipal Code Section 2607. (Exhibit No. 1)
2. AWARD purchase contracts to Systems Source, Inc. in the
not-to-exceed amount of $97,841.21 to cover the cost of the
renovation and furnishing of the Transportation Services
Division and a not-to-exceed amount of $85,592.16 for the
Community Center staff office area.
3. AUTHORIZE the increase in the appropriations in the general
fund account number 01-99-999-004 8004/0149401 by
$85,592.16 to cover the costs of the renovation and furnishing of
the Community Center office areas.
