THIS IS A JOINT AGENDA ITEM WITH THE housing authority and community facilities district no. 2012-2 Recommendation: 1. Consider ADOPTING an amendment to the JPA Agreement. AWARD a construction contract for Project No. 1439: Traffic Signal Installation at the Intersection of 223rd Street and Lucerne Street in the amount of $235,000.00, to the lowest responsible bidder, Smart Tech Group, Inc. 2. AUTHORIZE the expenditure of construction contingencies, if necessary, in the amount of $35,250.00 (15%) for change orders such as substructure conflicts and other unforeseen construction work that may be required to complete this project. 3. AUTHORIZE the City of Carson to continue to piggy back off the competitively bid contract between TCPN and Southern Counties Oil Company, dba SC Fuels. 3.
