NEGOTIATOR (SUCCESSOR AGENCY)
Recommendation: A closed session will be held, pursuant to Government Code
Section 54956.8, to enable Successor Agency to consider
negotiations with Steve Hopkins of Hopkins Real Estate Group,
with whom the Successor Agency is negotiating, and to give
direction to its negotiators Kenneth C. Farfsing, Executive
Director and John Raymond, Director of Community Development,
regarding that certain real property known as Assessor Parcel
Nos. 7336-010-24 and 7336-010-25. The Successor Agency's
real property negotiator will seek direction from the Agency
member regarding the price, payment terms for purchase, sale or
lease.

Recommendation: A closed session will be held, pursuant to Government Code

negotiations with James Kozel of CDC Development, Inc., with
whom City is negotiating, and to give direction to its negotiator (s)
Kenneth C. Farfsing, City Manager, and John Raymond, Director
of Community Development regarding that certain real property at
2403 East 223rd Street. The City's real property negotiator will

Recommendation: 1. APPROVE Contract Amendment #4 with Goodwill Industries to
provide routine maintenance of the City of Carson's bus stops and

overall cost of $49,500.00.
2. APPROVE Arch Insurance Company to provide coverage for
the city's Excess Workers' Compensation Insurance for FY
2017/18, at an overall cost of $121,600.00.
3. APPROVE Alliant Property Insurance Program ("APIP") to
provide coverage for the city's Property Insurance, including
terrorism, cyber (new) and pollution (new) coverage for FY
2017/18, at an overall cost of $62,267.15.
4. APPROVE The Hartford Company to provide coverage for the
city's volunteers for FY 2017/18, at an overall cost of $289.00.
5. APPROVE Alliant Crime Insurance Program via National Union
Fire Insurance Company of Pittsburgh, PA (AIG) to provide Crime
coverage for FY 2017/18 at an overall cost of $3,225.00.
6. APPROVE the premium to extend the general liability policy to

2. ADOPT Resolution No. 17-19-CHA "A RESOLUTION OF THE

contingencies for unforeseen conditions that may arise during the

contingencies (15% of bid amount) for change orders for
unforeseen conditions that may be required to complete this
project.
4. AUTHORIZE the Authority Chairman to execute the contract
following approval as to form by Authority Counsel.

$69,565.00, to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder,
Victor Concrete, Inc.
2. AUTHORIZE the expenditure of construction contingencies in
