Recommendation: TAKE the following actions:
1. APPROVE a three-year Contract Services Agreement with
Sports Officials for You!, LLC, to provide sports officiating services
for Youth and Adult Sports programs in an amount not to exceed
$180,000.00 annually, or $540,000.00 total for the three-year term
(Exhibit 2).
2. APPROVE a three-year Contract Services Agreement with
Hangtime Sports for on-call, backup emergency sports officiating
services for Youth and Adult Sports basketball programs in an
amount not to exceed $5,000 annually, or $15,000.00 for the
three-year term (Exhibit 3).
3. WAIVE further reading and ADOPT Resolution No. 20-040, "A
RESOLUTION OF THE CARSON CITY COUNCIL AMENDING
THE FISCAL YEAR 2019-2020 BUDGET TO UTILIZE FUNDS
FROM THE UNDESIGNATED FUND BALANCE FOR SPORTS

Recommendation: TAKE the following action:
1. WAIVE the formal bidding procedures as defined by the Carson
Municipal Code, Section 2610, as allowed by Section 2611 (g).
2. AUTHORIZE the City of Carson to utilize a Cooperative
Purchasing Agency, Sourcewell, formerly National Joint Power
Alliance (NJPA) as allowed by Section 2611 (g) and issue a
purchase orders no greater than the amount of $200,000.
3. APPROVE the award of purchase contract for office supplies to
Staples Advantage for one year beginning July 1, 2019 through
June 30, 2020, for an amount not to exceed $200,000.00 per
Fiscal Year.

Recommendation: TAKE the following actions:
1. WAIVE the formal bidding procedures as defined by the Carson
Municipal Code, Section 2610, as allowed by Section 2611 (g).
2. AUTHORIZE the City of Carson to use a Cooperative
Purchasing Agency, The Home Depot Pro Institutional (formerly
Interline Brands, Inc. d/b/a Supply Works) as allowed by Section
2611 (g) and issue purchase orders for an amount not-to-exceed
$200,000.
3. APPROVE the award of purchase contract for maintenance,
hardware and paint supplies to Home Depot for the period
beginning July 1, 2019 through December 31, 2026, for not to
exceed amount of $200,000 per fiscal year.
