during the designated public comment period. Because of the threat of COVID-19
(the “Coronavirus”) you are urged to take all appropriate health safety precautions.
DUE TO COVID-19, NO MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC WILL BE ALLOWED INTO THE
CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS DURING CITY OF CARSON COUNCIL MEETINGS.
TO FACILITATE PUBLIC VIEWING, OUR CARSON CITY COUNCIL MEETINGS WILL
BE AVAILABLE TO YOU BY:

internet via www.carsonca.gov.
• Cable Channel 35 (Spectrum) and Channel 99 (AT&T)
Public comments can be provided only through the live call-in option discussed
below. Any members of the public wishing to provide public comment may do so as
follows using the instructions and phone number listed below:
You can provide real-time public comment by calling 1-669-900-6833, entering the
Meeting ID: 310 233 4888, and using Password 777 on the date of the meeting up
until the time that the applicable public comment period (generally during the portion
of the agenda entitled “Oral Communications”) concludes. The Oral Communications
portion of the agenda is limited to a duration of one hour unless otherwise approved
by the City Council. While participating, please state your name and identify the
agenda item you wish to address in your comments. Written public comments
received will not be read aloud and will be circulated to the City Council and
incorporated into the record.

initiate litigation in one case.

CHANNEL AND ITS NEGATIVE IMPACTS ON
RESIDENTS LIVING WITHIN ITS CLOSE PROXIMITY
Recommendation: 1. WAIVE further reading and RATIFY Resolution No. 21-136 "A
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARSON, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING A PUBLIC NUISANCE
DUE TO FOUL ODOR FROM DOMINGUEZ CHANNEL AND ITS
NEGATIVE IMPACTS ON RESIDENTS LIVING WITHIN ITS
CLOSE PROXIMITY" which was adopted on October 11, 2021.
