Recommendation: TAKE the following actions:
1. APPROVE a Public Works Agreement with DataGear, Inc. for
the removal, installation, and maintenance of the safety and
security camera system and associated work along Avalon
Boulevard, for an amount not-to-exceed $571,827.14.
2. AUTHORIZE the expenditure of construction contingency, if
necessary, in an amount not-to-exceed $57,182.71 (10%) for
change orders such as extra work items and unforeseen
construction work that may be required to complete the project.
3. AUTHORIZE the Mayor to execute the contract following

4. WAIVE further reading and ADOPT RESOLUTION No. 22-152

Recommendation: 1. APPROVE sponsorship of the inaugural CSUDH Carson Small
Business Growth Academy for Carson businesses to be help at
the CSUDH Innovation Incubator in the Fall of 2022, at a
sponsorship cost of $9,995.00.

assignments to the City Council Sub-Committees; and/or
3. REAFFIRM, RE-DESIGNATE and/or DESIGNATE delegates
and alternates to the City-Affiliated Organizations; and
4. DIRECT the City Clerk to notify all affected appointments,
reappointments or removed members and/or all affected
City-Affiliated Organizations of this action in writing;
5. IF APPLICABLE, DIRECT the City Clerk to post and publish in
accordance
with the Maddy Act.
