Agenda). The Oral Communications portion of the agenda is limited to a duration of
one hour unless otherwise approved by the City Council. Comment time is normally
3 minutes depending on the number of speakers.

1. OPEN the Public Hearing, TAKE public testimony, and CLOSE
the Public Hearing.
2. APPROVE the submission of Substantial Amendments to the
2023-2024 and 2019-2020 Annual Action Plans to the U. S.
Department of Housing and Urban Development.
3. AUTHORIZE the reallocation of $643,630.94 in Community
Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds from Program Year
2022-2023 to Program Year 2023-2024, and allocation of those
funds to the Neighborhood Pride Program.
4. AUTHORIZE the reallocation within the 2023-2024 Annual
Action Plan of $220,000.00 from Anderson Park Improvements to
the Neighborhood Pride Program.
5. AUTHORIZE the following reallocation of Community
Development Block Grant-Coronavirus (CDBG-CV) within the
2019-2020 Annual Action Plan: $60,000.00 to an existing
program of Homelessness Prevention Services; $187,876.44 to
an existing program of COVID-Related Residential Rehabilitation;
and $50,000.00 to inspection services related to the
COVID-Related Residential Rehabilitation program.

Resolution of the City Council of the City of Carson, California,

Recommendation: TAKE the following actions:
1. CONSIDER and only APPOINT uncontested members to the
City Commissions, Committees, and Boards;
2. CONSIDER and APPOINT all (contested and uncontested)
members to all commissions except Planning Commission,
Economic Development Commission and Environmental
Commission;
3. CONSIDER and APPOINT members to City Affiliated
Organizations;
3. DIRECT the City Clerk to notify all affected appointments of this
action in writing;
4. IF APPLICABLE, DIRECT the City Clerk to post and publish in
accordance
with the Maddy Act.
