Three or more Council members may also attend this meeting, during which the items listed herein will be discussed. CALL TO ORDER / ROLL CALL / CERTIFICATION OF MEETING Chair Baumann called the meeting to order at 6:03 pm. Recording Secretary, Julie Parker, confirmed that notice of this meeting and the agenda had been posted and witnessed in accordance with the requirements of the Open Meetings Law. Present 3 - Kevin Raasch, Chair Linda Baumann, and Vice Chair JC Ortega Not Present 1 - Matt Bierman APPROVAL OF MINUTES BOA 2018-008 Approval of Minutes - June 7, 2018 Board of Adjustment Meeting Attachments: BOA6.7.18Minutes Motion: Board Member Raasch moved to approve the June 7, 2018 Board of Adjustment minutes as written. Vice Chair Ortega seconded the motion. Passed: 3-0 Yes: 3 - Raasch, Chair Baumann, and Vice Chair Ortega Not Present: 1 - Bierman UNSCHEDULED PUBLIC APPEARANCES There were no unscheduled public appearances. PUBLIC HEARING ITEMS BOA 2018-009 Request for Variance: 3702 Deer Valley Drive CRW Application #BOA18-0003 Board of Adjustment Special Meeting Minutes - Final July 10, 2018 Attachments: Staff Report Attachment A: BOA Application Attachment B: HOA Approval Letter Attachment C: Adjacent Neighbors Letters of Support Attachment D: Construction Plans Ms. King certified that the application had been publicly noticed and entered her staff report into public record. The applicant, Kerry Taylor, did not have a presentation, but did answer questions from the Board. The Board discussed the findings of each of the 6 criteria considered in order to grant a variance. There were no public comments made on this application. Motion: Vice Chair Ortega moved to approve the request for a variance from the minimum rear yard setback. Chair Baumann seconded the motion. Board Member Raasch disapproved, sighting that the dimensions of the deck could be altered to meet the setback requirements. Passed: 2-1 Yes: 2 - Chair Baumann, and Vice Chair Ortega No: 1 - Raasch Not Present: 1 - Bierman DISCUSSION ACTION ITEMS There were no discussion items discussed.
