Hearing Officer Judge Louis Gresh Liquor License Authority Meeting Minutes - Final Wednesday, December 4, 2019 10:30 AM Town Hall 100 N. Wilcox Street Castle Rock, CO 80104 This hearing is open to the public. All times indicated on the agenda are approximate. Three or more Councilmembers may also attend this hearing, during which the items listed herein will be discussed. CALL TO ORDER Hearing Officer Richard McManus opened the public hearing at 10:30 am. NEW LIQUOR LICENSE APPLICATIONS LLA 2019-010 New Beer and Wine License: Creative Cork Paint and Wine Lisa Anderson, Town Clerk, provided a report to the Hearing Officer stating that the application was complete, was properly noticed, and the petition showed the application meets the needs and desires of the neighborhood. McManus announced the boundaries of the neighborhood with no objections and entered the packet into the record of the hearing. McManus swore in the applicant, Benjamin Henry. Henry stated that have started running classes and established some local artists in the gallery space. Wanted to have a creative outlet for the residents. They offer classes, private lessons and gallery space for local emerging artists in the area. They will be serving wine and beer. Henry and his wife will be the only employees at this point. Henry provided his certificate of his TIPS certification. Henry stated that he would have training provided to other employees as well. Henry will be the primary operator at the premise which is located downtown. He has been teaching at Castle View High School as an art teacher, and wants to expand his role for the artistic creative community in Town. No one present to object to the license. McManus closed the public hearing at 10:40 am. McManus noted that the petition showed 100% approval and found that the applicant is of good morale character, the inhabitants of the neighborhood desire the license be granted, the license will meet the reasonable requirements of the neighborhood, all Town and State law requirements have been met, and that based on these findings, the Authority approves issuance of a beer and wine license for Creative Cork Wine and Paint. Liquor License Authority Meeting Minutes - Final December 4, 2019 ADJOURN McManus adjourned the hearing at 10:40 am.
