Liquor License Authority Meeting Minutes - Final Tuesday, June 16, 2020 11:00 AM Town Hall 100 N. Wilcox Street Castle Rock, CO 80104 This hearing is open to the public. CALL TO ORDER Judge Gresh called the meeting to order at 11:16 am. NEW LIQUOR LICENSE APPLICATIONS LLA 2020-005 New HOTEL & RESTAURANT License - LA LOMA CASTLE ROCK LLC dba LA LOMA John Jennings, Attorney for the applicant. Mark Brinkerhoff, Owner of La Loma, Castle Rock. Lisa Anderson, Town Clerk, stated the findings. Judge Gresh noted there were not objection to the boundaries of the neighborhood and entered the packet into the record. Judge Gresh swore in the applicant and stated he is familiar with their other two restaurants. He asked that the Castle Rock location will run similarly. Brinkeroff stated all servers trained in alcohol service and take it seriously. Their downtown location has operated for 40 years with no violations. Judge Gresh inquired about their response to the pandemic and what businesses practices they will look at. Brinkeroff stated they are currently following all guidelines and regulations in place now and will be doing that in Castle Rock to comply, and take that responsibility seriously. Judge Gresh asked about how they will handle the Take Out alcohol. Brinkeroff stated they seal all beverages with a sticker, and certain employees do the deliveries. Brinkeroff stated they are looking forward to opening and serving the community. Judge Gresh closed the public hearing and Applicant is of good morale character. Liquor License Authority Meeting Minutes - Final June 16, 2020 The inhabitants of the neighborhood desire the license be granted and that the petition reflected 100% support. The license will meet the reasonable requirements of the neighborhood. All Town and State law requiredments have been bet Based on these findings, the Authority approved issuance.
