Castleton Court Castle Rock, CO 80104 This meeting is open to the public. Please note that all times indicated on the agenda are approximate and interested parties are encouraged to be present earlier than the posted time. Three or more Council members may also attend this meeting, during which the items listed herein will be discussed. Dinner and Informal Discussion Call To Order Commissioner White arrived at 5:38 p.m. Present 11 - Commissioner Kevin Raasch, Commissioner Debra Beck, Chair Gio DiDomenico, Commissioner Brad Patton, Vice Chair Mike White, Commissioner Katheryn Wille, Caryn Johnson, Dan Sailer, Ryan Germeroth, Paul Colell, and Monica Cammalleri Not Present 1 - Commissioner Joel Wood Public Comment on Items Not on the Agenda There were no public comments. Action Items PWC 2021-065 April 4, 2022 Public Works Commission Meeting Minutes A motion made by Commissioner Wille and seconded by Commissioner DiDomenico to approve the minutes from April 4, 2022. Motion passes 5-0. PWC 2021-066 Resolution approving the Purchase of Replacement Street Sweeper Resolution approving the purchase of Replacement Street Sweeper for Unit #222 and has met all the requirements for replacement as outlined in the vehicle replacement policy. The following questions were asked by the Commission: 1. How many sweepers were tested? A: Four different brands were tested. We contacted other municipalities for their reviews and input. 2. How many sweepers does the Town currently have? A: We currently have four. 3. How does this sweeper recycle water? A: It has a filter system built in which allows the water to be reused. 4. What is the depreciation cycle on this new sweeper? Public Works Commission Meeting Minutes - Final May 2, 2022 A: It is between 12 - 14 years 5. What happens to the old sweeper it is replacing? A: It will be auctioned and the money will go back into the replacement fund. 6. Will the Town be adding more sweepers since the Town is getting more streets? A: Not at this time - We will be looking at the level of service A motion made by Commissioner Beck and seconded by Commissioner Wille to approve the Resolution approving the Purchase of Replacement Street Sweeper. Motion passes 6-0. Informational / Discussion Items PWC 2021-067 Project Updates Dan Sailer, Public Works Director gave an overview of the current Public Works projects/programs which was provided to the Commission in their packet Town Council Liasion Comments Councilperson Johnson updated the Commission staff of Council items. Commissioner Comments / Questions Adjourn There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 6:28 p.m.
