CASTROVILLE PARKS AND RECREATION ADVISORY BOARD REGULAR CALLED MEETING Regional Park RV Recreational Building 816 Alsace Street Castroville, Texas May 21, 2019 Tuesday 6:30 p.m. 1. Call to order 2. Roll Call 3. Citizen’s comments Those desiring to comment will have three minutes to do so, and may be granted additional time if the Board agrees. The Board will take no action on Public comment topics not already on the agenda. 4. Consider and take appropriate action on approving minutes from previous meeting. 5. Consider and take action on changing the regular Parks and Recreation Advisory Board Meetings from the third Tuesdays of each month to the third Wednesdays of each month. 6. Update from the Friends of the Regional Park on plans and projects. 7. Updates from Park Superintendent on ongoing City Parks projects. 8. New Business: a. Budget review with Parks Director on current revenues and expenditures, identify 1 year and 5 year projects. b. Discussion on city parks. c. Discussion and appropriate action on setting a date for a planning workshop to review Master Plan. d. Discussion on what the goals and objectives for the parks and begin process on drafting a Mission Statement. e. Discussion and development of an outline of an action plan for 2019/2020. 9.
