V. Updates from Parks Director on Capital Improvement Projects (CIP) and New Projects for all parks.
a. Community Services Building Construction.
b. Pool Heating Report.
c. Irrigation and landscaping at Lion’s Park.
VI. Discussion and take appropriate action on options on old restroom next to Amphitheater.
a. Concept plans for new playground equipment and improve parking in this area.
b. Leave in place and restore to ADA specifications.
c. Demolish and save flagstone exterior for other uses.
d. Demolish entire building.
VII. Discussion and appropriate action on Sports Lights at Lion’s Field.
VIII. Presentation of the City of Castroville Parks, Recreation, and Open Spaces Master Plan and Budgetary
Guide from the Friends of Regional Park.
IX. Discussion and appropriate action on Appendix A. Implementation and Budgetary Guide Summary for
Capital Improvement Projects for 2024.
X. Update from Friends of Regional Park on:
a. Eagle Scout project on replacement of Scout Bridge
b. Hiking Trail Assessment contract with Tim Eischen EGC.
c. Volunteer Workdays.
