CITY COUNCIL ANNUAL REPORT OF THE CEDAR FALLS PUBLIC LIBRARY Library Meeting Room February 12, 2024 The City Council attended a presentation of the Cedar Falls Public Library’s annual report by Library Director Kelly Stern at 5 p.m. on February 12, 2024. The following persons were in attendance: Mayor Danny Laudick; Council Members Chris Latta, Aaron Hawbaker, Dustin Ganfield, Hanna Crisman, Gil Schultz, and Kelly Dunn; Friends of the Library President Rhonda Braley, Friends Board Member Mary Ellen Beckman; staff members Ron Gaines, Jennifer Rodenbeck, Kelly Stern, and Rebekah Hosford; and a representative from the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. Kelly Stern presented statistical highlights of library operations during FY23 and a summary of programs and services offered to library patrons. A question-and-answer session followed the presentation, including questions and comments about library-related pending legislation, opportunities for expanding library partnerships, and upcoming library programs. The meeting was adjourned at 5:50 p.m.
