CITY COUNCIL ANNUAL REPORT OF THE CEDAR FALLS PUBLIC LIBRARY Library Meeting Room January 13, 2025 The City Council attended a presentation of the Cedar Falls Public Library’s annual report by Library Director Kelly Stern at 5 p.m. on January 13, 2025. The following persons attended Mayor Danny Laudick; Council Members Hanna Crisman, Kelly Dunn, and Dustin Ganfield; Friends of the Library Members Mary Ellen Beckman and Rhonda Braley; Library Board of Trustees Member Reg Green; staff members Ron Gaines, Jennifer Rodenbeck, Kevin Rogers, and Rebekah Hosford. Kelly Stern presented statistical and anecdotal highlights of library operations during FY24 and a summary of programs and services offered to library patrons. A question-and-answer session followed the presentation, including questions and comments about the vision for the library’s near future. Council Members and Mayor Laudick took a tour of the library building with Director Stern at the conclusion of the question-and-answer session. The meeting was adjourned at 5:40 p.m.
