Open Space Advisory Board DATE: June 28, 2016 TIME: 6:00 PM LOCATION: *COUNCIL CHAMBERS, 13133 E. ARAPAHOE ROAD* Minutes 1. Call to Order The meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. 2. Note Attendance and Determination of Quorum Those present were: Tom Wood Olivia Mayer Ron Monk Leah Baker-Camper Justin Hamel Rick Meckstroth Those absent were: Matt Lunn Also present were: Stephanie Piko, Council Member Kathy Turley, Council Member Kelly Brady, Commissions Coordinator Steve Greer, Community Development Director Jennifer Houlne, Senior Planner Karen Brookes, Staff and recording secretary 3. Approval of Minutes Justin Hamel motioned and Rick Meckstroth seconded approval of the March 22, 2016 minutes as amended. All members present voted aye and the minutes were approved. 4. Additions to Agenda There were no additions to the agenda. 5. General Public Comments There were no public comments. 6. Discussion Items a. Introduction of Steve Greer, Community Development Director – Steve Greer introduced himself to the Board. b. Senior Commission – Centennial Center Park Recommendations – Susan Pye, Senior Commission presented. Agenda – Open Space Advisory Board March 22, 2016 Page 2 A vote for recommendation for Staff to move forward with the Senior Commission recommendations was taken. All those present voted aye and the vote was approved. c. Neighborhood Parks Grant Program Application - Jennifer Houlne, Senior Planner, provided an overview of the Neighborhood Parks Grant Program. A vote for recommendation for Staff to move forward with the fall cycle of the grant was taken. All those present voted aye and the vote was approved. d. Lone Tree Creek Trail design/engineering work – Jennifer Houlne, Senior Planner, provided an overview of the Lone Tree Creek Trail design and engineering work. A vote for recommendation for Staff to move forward with the Arapahoe County grant application was taken. All those present voted aye and the vote was approved. e. Master Plan Update - Jennifer Houlne, Senior Planner, provided an overview of the Master Plan update. 7. Action Items There were no additions to the agenda. 8.
